WELCOME

Some stories are too deep for words alone.

This is where they become art.

ABOUT REVEARIO BY RISHIKA SAHGAL

Rishika Sahgal

Embrace Artistic Inspiration

I am Rishika Sahgal, a contemporary abstract mixed media artist based in Kanpur, India, trained at the University of Westminster, London.

Reveario was born from two words, reverie, a dreamlike state, and aura, the unseen energy we all carry. Its name is a tribute to my grandmother, the woman who first placed a brush in my hand and awakened something that never left.

My practice is rooted in memory, resilience, and the quiet stories that live beneath the surface of things. I work with layered pigments, natural materials, resin, and gold, building richly textured surfaces that ask you to come closer. To look again. To feel what cannot be spoken.

My journey has been shaped by extremes. Surviving the 2013 Uttarakhand floods taught me that beauty and fragility are inseparable. Years of training and living in London, through the halls of Westminster, the galleries of Barcelona, the streets of Paris, showed me that art is not decoration. It is encounter. It is memory made visible.

I returned to India not to retreat, but to create with intention,  bringing everything I learned, everything I survived, and everything I love back to the place where it all began.

My works are held in private collections across India, the United Kingdom, and the United States. I have exhibited across London, New Delhi, and Goa, and been featured in Creative Zyne Magazine, 2026.

Every piece I create is more than art. It is an experience, layered, intentional, and deeply human.

 ARTISTIC ETHOS

Dedicated to Artistic Excellence & Innovation

I believe that the most powerful art does not announce itself. It waits. It reveals itself slowly, the way a person does, the way a memory does, the way meaning does. My work is built on this philosophy. Beneath every surface lies intention. Beneath every texture lies a story. Beneath every layer lies something worth finding.

I create for collectors who want more than beauty on their walls. I create for those who want their spaces, and their stories, to live on in art.
